The menu at Wild Sage Bistro is a vibrant showcase of thoughtful ingredients and inspired preparations. Start your culinary journey with the Yukon Taquitos—crispy, golden shells filled with creamy Yukon gold potatoes, melted white cheddar, and a lively chile lime sauce that dances on the palate. For a lighter, yet flavorful beginning, the Green Chickpea Cakes, paired with a spiced tzatziki and tomato caper relish, deliver a unique blend of textures and zest. An unforgettable starter is also the Ahi Tuna Crudo, where passionfruit and coconut relish mingle with delicate ponzu and subtle crunch from garlic chips, elevating each bite to a tropical delight.
At the heart of the dinner experience is the Wild Pacific Halibut, pan-seared to perfection and served with a vibrant lemon and caper supreme, almond romesco sauce, and complemented by snap peas, fried artichokes, and fragrant jasmine rice. For those seeking richer, more indulgent flavors, the Duck Duck Goose stands out—a tender duck leg confit in red wine demiglace, balanced by pickled gooseberries, hot honey, and the satisfying crunch of candied pistachios over golden fried potatoes.
Meat lovers will relish the Apricot Kurobuta Pork Shank and the Pineapple Glazed Pork Shank, both featuring succulent, fall-apart tenderness enhanced by uniquely sweet and savory glazes. The pork tenderloin au poivre impresses with bold, peppery notes that perfectly complement the dish’s rich flavors. For a quintessential American twist, the Wild Sage Burger, crafted from Australian Wagyu beef and housed in a house-made onion bun, is an indulgence that balances gourmet quality with casual comfort.
Every dish is not just a taste experience but a visual feast, expertly plated to entice and delight before the first bite—truly a feast for the eyes and the palate alike. We had an awesome anniversary dinner here. First time trying it and we were really impressed with everything. Our server Sean was wonderful and attentive. He made great recommendations and we loved everything that we tried. They have mocktails and non-alcoholic beer which was a plus for us because we don't drink. We tried the taquitos and while we are not vegetarian, it was really nice you have options without meat. We loved them. The flavor was awesome. We got the lemon chicken which was really unique and had great flavor. The veggies were so fresh you could tell they were like same day picked most likely. My husband got the flank steak and he loved it. It came with potatoes and they were cooked perfectly and awesome. We got the coconut cake for dessert as well as the chocolate macaroon vegan ice cream. It was very cool to find out that most of the items are gluten free. My husband said it was the best ice cream he has ever had. We ate upstairs and the area was kind of tight but it was still very enjoyable. We were frequently checked on. E salads were awesome and we also loved the rolls. They gave us little chocolates for our anniversary which was very appreciative and they were very tasty. The only negatives I have are the area is a little sketchy and we chose to walk there from our hotel. I would not recommend walking in the area. And the only negative I could find in the food was that my parmesan polenta was a little colder than the other items on my plate. I feel like it was maybe plated first or something but it definitely had great flavor was, just a little cold. I was impressed and would love to try this place again.
We had a wonderful time! Incredible service from Brianna (pure delight)! The appetizers, drinks, and entrees were wonderful! So worth the experience! We will be back.
Wild Sage Bistro is pure love from the first bite! The food is insanely delicious, every dish feels like a mini masterpiece, and the presentation? You’re eating with your eyes first! Everything is plated with so much care, like proper fine-dining vibes. The atmosphere is quiet, cozy, perfect for a chill dinner. And thank God, the windows are covered — no need to see the “horrors” of downtown Spokane! Inside, it’s gorgeous, stylish, and just feels special. I’m definitely coming back and recommending this to everyone — a must-visit in Spokane!
Tonight was our third visit to Wild Sage and what we’ve found is that this restaurant NEVER disappoints! We tried their tácitos and now we see why people rave about this appetizer. It’s the perfect blend of crunch, spice and creamy avocado! We love their bacon and blue cheese salad and have gotten this every time we’ve eaten there. There’s something very satisfying about this flavor combination that has us committed to repeating it with each visit. Their light popovers with lavender honey butter are divine and are bordering on an addiction for us both. We tried the bouillabaisse and agreed that the rich, savory sauce pulled all of the flavors together and made it a winner! We ended our meal with their signature coconut cake that, I’m convinced, could solve the world’s problems—oh my, is that heavenly! Our hostess tonight was Sophie (a friendly, bubbly girl who welcomed us and made us comfortable from the start), our server was Mike (knew the menu very well and was able to make some great recommendations for us, he timed the delivery of each dish perfectly so that we weren’t left waiting for the next course), our cook was Logan (very talented chef who made every flavor pop!) and we even met the owner, Garth, tonight. He’s a great, down-to-earth guy who has formed a fabulous team that performs together like clockwork. We had an excellent meal and an enjoyable evening! We’ll be back soon because we love this place!
This was my favorite restaurant during my visit to Spokane. The food was delicious and the service was great. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was great and so helpful. I ordered the pork tenderloin and it was incredible. There was so much flavor and I was so glad I got it. My colleague got the bucatini and said it was really good as well. They also brought out some bread with the most delicious sweet butter. 10/10 experience and I would absolutely go back.
If I could give more than five stars, I would. We've eaten at many of Spokane’s top dining establishments The Davenport’s Palm Court Grill, The Osprey, Clinkerdagger, Churchill’s Steakhouse, and Masselow’s at Northern Quest. Each has its moments of brilliance, but Wild Sage doesn’t just stand out it leads the pack. From the moment we sat down, every dish was a masterclass in flavor, balance, and execution. The food wasn’t just good it was spectacular. Rich in creativity, yet rooted in comfort, each plate felt like a story the chef was telling, and we were lucky enough to listen with our taste buds. The chef who created this menu, and the entire kitchen staff behind it, deserve Michelin stars. Their attention to detail, ingredient selection, and flawless technique were evident in every bite. The flavors were bold but refined, familiar but inventive and honestly, we found ourselves saying multiple times, “This is better than any meal we’ve had in Spokane — ever.” Wild Sage is officially our new gold standard. If you think you’ve experienced the best of Spokane cuisine, go here — and prepare to be humbled.
Best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in such a long time. Love the food and atmosphere. Our waitress Bri (apologies if I got that wrong) was absolutely amazing, her attitude was great, very knowledgeable, and friendly. Definitely coming back!
Wild Sage always delivers! We made a reservation on a Saturday night before the holidays - very busy but we were seated right on time. Service was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was wonderful. Cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We ordered the fried brussel sprouts and taquitoes for appetizers. The house bread was 4 fluffy little turnovers with a whipped butter - very tasty. For entrees, my wife had the creole bucatini with shrimp (cooked spot on) and I had the pork tenderloin (always perfectly medium. For drinks, my wife had the signature espresso martini and I had the espresso old fashioned. Both were so delicious that we each had another. We skipped desert - only because we were pleasantly full.
